Below is the latest list of Beer that we expect to be delivered to the 39th Durham Beer Festival.
This information is supplied in good faith and whilst we will attempt to keep this page as up to date possible there may still be some last minute changes to availability and ABV may occur. Please note that some beers are being held as reserves to be tapped when other beers sell out, so not all beers are available at all times.

Elland 1872 Porter Cask 6.5% A rich, complex, dark ruby porter from an 1872 recipe. It has an old port nose, coffee and bitter chocolate flavours from four malts including finest Maris Otter and English hops. From the Wood. Kindly donated by SPBW
Working Hand Angry Baby Cask 6.0% Heavily hopped with mosaic hops a rather strong beer which is surprisingly quaffable. Kindly donated by the Working Hand Brewery, Leamside
Yard of Ale Arcadia KeyKeg 4.6% Double-dry hopped Munich Pale, naturally hazy. It's got bags of character thanks to the additions of West Coast Amarillo, Mosaic and Simcoe hops
Brewsters Aromatica Cask % A touch of roast malt for a light amber brew with a slightly sweet nutty flavour. Citra hops to the fore give tropical hop notes and aromas of lime and passion fruit with a refreshingly long aromatic finish, Kindly donated by the Bishops' Mill, Durham
Donkeystone Bad Ass Blonde Cask 3.8% The backbone of this crisp light ale comes from Admiral and First Gold hops, finished with fresh US Bravo hops.
Exmoor Beast Cask 6.6% Brewed with a mix of pale ale, chocolate and crystal malts, and hopped with Goldings, Challenger and Brewers Gold, it is dark mahogany-brown in colour, with the merest hint of crimson tints at its edge. Lush rich aromas of toffee, treacle. Mocha coffee, vinous fruit and chocolate swirl above the glass. Kindly donated by The Three Horse Shoes, Leamside.
Long Man Best Bitter Cask 4.0% Perfectly balanced with a complex bittersweet malty taste, fragrant hops and a characteristic long deep finish. A traditional Sussex-style Best Bitter
Lancaster Black Cask 4.5% Classic, traditional stout. Complex taste with a rich and full body. Crisp, with a full bouquet of spices, fruit and floral aromas. Kindly donated by Beer Gadgies
Ludlow Black Knight Cask 4.5% Ruby black complexion, with a smokey, liquorice aroma and a sweet,
Fixed Wheel Blackheath Stout Cask 5.0% Full-bodied fruity stout is brewed with New Zealand and English hops to give an oaky bitterness and dark fruits finish.
Coach House Blueberry Classic Bitter Cask 5.0% Straw coloured: a light hoppy aroma and a distinct blueberry aftertaste.
Hexhamshire Cave Cask 4.5% A hoppy delight. From the Wood. Kindly donated by Hexhamshire Brewery
Ushers Celtic Gold Cask 4.0% A refreshing golden ale, brewed with carefully selected hop varieties including Fuggles, Goldings and Challenger. Kindly donated by LWC Drinks of Houghton le Spring

Dancing Duck Dark Drake Cask 4.5% Delicious malty, caramel and liquorice flavours combine wonderfully in a smooth, velvety oatmeal stout with a freshly roasted coffee and toffee finish. Kindly donated by the Smiths Arms, Castle Dene
Three Kings Dark Side of the Toon Cask 4.1% Dry stout with dark chocolate and roast coffee notes. From the Wood. Kindly donated by SPBW
South Hams Devon Pride Cask 3.8% Refreshing bitter
Maxim Double Maxim Cask 4.7% A fine example of a North East brown ale; a good balance of ripe grain and spicy hops, with a long bittersweet finish. From the Wood. Kindly donated by Maxim Brewery
Durham Edge of Twenty Five Cask 4.5% 25th Birthday IPA! A massive hop bill has gone into this brew. IPA with masses of Styrian Dragon and Columbus hops then dry hopped with Centennial, El Dorado and Simcoe. Kindly donated by Durham Brewery

Slater's Haka New Zealand Pale Cask 5.2% Dry hopped for three weeks to ensure full flavour. Kindly donated by Camerons Brewery

Wylam Jakehead Cask 6.3% Supercharged India Pale Ale - rich, bright & amber/bronze with lots of American hop aroma. Distinctly bittersweet on the palate with a massive hop complexity fashioned deep within the IPA tradition.

Timothy Taylor Le Champion Cask 4.5% Brewed to celebrate the Tour de France's Yorkshire depart, a French-style blonde brewed from Alsace Stisselspalt hops and continental malts to give it a smooth body and delicate hop fragrance. Kindly donated by Timothy Taylor Brewery
Salopian Lemon Dream Cask 4.5% Golden ale brewed using organic lemons which adds zesty aromas and a citrus filled fruity finish.

Daleside Monkey Wrench Cask 5.3% A powerful smooth strong ale to suit all tastes. Mid brown to ruby in hue with aromas of fruit hops, malt and roast malt together with some sweetness. Kindly donated by Daleside Brewery
Settle Nine Standards Porter Cask 4.7% Classic robust porter, black and creamy with a heady mix of rich caramel and coffee.
Hadrian Border Ouseburn Porter Cask 5.2% A traditionally robust and satisfying porter using the best quality ingredients including rolled oats to produce a smooth, rich and dark creamy drink. Kindly donated by O'wa the Road, pub, Swalwell
